2 And Jehu3058 the son1121 of Hanani2607 the seer2374 went out3318 to meet413 6440 him, and said559 to413 king4428 Jehoshaphat,3092 Shouldest thou help5826 the ungodly,7563 and love157 them that hate8130 the LORD?3068 therefore2063 is wrath7110 upon5921 thee from before4480 6440 the LORD.3068

2 Und3092 es ging3318 ihm entgegen hinaus Jehu3058, der Sohn1121 Hananis2607, der Schauer, und sprach559 zum Könige4428 Josaphat: Sollst du so dem GOttlosen7563 helfen5826 und lieben157, die den6440 HErrn3068 hassen8130? Und um deswillen ist2063 über dir6440 der Zorn7110 vom HErrn3068.

3 Nevertheless61 there are good2896 things1697 found4672 in5973 thee, in that3588 thou hast taken away1197 the groves842 out of4480 the land,776 and hast prepared3559 thine heart3824 to seek1875 God.430

3 Aber61 doch ist was2896 Gutes an dir funden, daß du die Haine842 hast1697 ausgefeget aus dem Lande776 und hast4672 dein Herz3824 gerichtet, GOtt430 zu3559 suchen1875.

4 And Jehoshaphat3092 dwelt3427 at Jerusalem:3389 and he went out3318 again7725 through the people5971 from Beer-sheba4480 884 to5704 mount2022 Ephraim,669 and brought them back7725 unto413 the LORD3068 God430 of their fathers.1

4 Also blieb3427 Josaphat zu Jerusalem3389. Und3092 er zog wiederum aus3318 unter das Volk5971, von Berseba an bis auf das Gebirge2022 Ephraim669, und brachte7725 sie wieder7725 zu dem HErrn3068, ihrer Väter1 GOtt430.

5 And he set5975 judges8199 in the land776 throughout all3605 the fenced1219 cities5892 of Judah,3063 city5892 by city,5892

5 Und5975 er bestellete Richter8199 im Lande776 in allen festen1219 Städten5892 Judas, in einer jeglichen Stadt5892 etliche,

6 And said559 to413 the judges,8199 Take heed7200 what4100 ye859 do:6213 for3588 ye judge8199 not3808 for man,120 but3588 for the LORD,3068 who is with5973 you in the judgment.1697 4941

6 und sprach559 zu6213 den Richtern8199: Sehet zu, was ihr tut; denn ihr haltet das Gericht4941 nicht8199 den Menschen120, sondern dem HErrn3068; und er ist7200 mit euch im Gericht.

7 Wherefore now6258 let the fear6343 of the LORD3068 be1961 upon5921 you; take heed8104 and do6213 it: for3588 there is no369 iniquity5766 with5973 the LORD3068 our God,430 nor respect4856 of persons,6440 nor taking4727 of gifts.7810

7 Darum laßt die Furcht6343 des HErrn3068 bei euch6440 sein8104 und hütet euch und tut6213 es; denn bei dem HErrn3068, unserm GOtt430, ist kein Unrecht5766, noch Ansehen4856 der Person, noch Annehmen4727 des Geschenks7810.

8 Moreover1571 in Jerusalem3389 did Jehoshaphat3092 set5975 of4480 the Levites,3881 and of the priests,3548 and of the chief4480 7218 of the fathers1 of Israel,3478 for the judgment4941 of the LORD,3068 and for controversies,7379 when they returned7725 to Jerusalem.3389

8 Auch bestellete Josaphat zu Jerusalem3389 aus den Leviten3881 und3092 Priestern3548 und5975 aus den obersten7218 Vätern1 unter Israel3478 über das Gericht4941 des HErrn3068 und über die Sachen7379 und ließ sie7725 zu Jerusalem3389 wohnen.

9 And he charged6680 5921 them, saying,559 Thus3541 shall ye do6213 in the fear3374 of the LORD,3068 faithfully,530 and with a perfect8003 heart.3824

9 Und gebot6680 ihnen und sprach559: Tut6213 also in der Furcht3374 des HErrn3068, treulich530 und mit rechtem8003 Herzen3824.

10 And what cause soever3605 7379 834 shall come935 to5921 you of your brethren4480 251 that dwell3427 in their cities,5892 between996 blood1818 and blood,1818 between996 law8451 and commandment,4687 statutes2706 and judgments,4941 ye shall even warn2094 them that they trespass816 not3808 against the LORD,3068 and so wrath7110 come1961 upon5921 you, and upon5921 your brethren:251 this3541 do,6213 and ye shall not3808 trespass.816

10 In allen Sachen7379, die zu6213 euch kommen von euren Brüdern251, die in ihren Städten5892 wohnen, zwischen Blut1818 und Blut1818, zwischen Gesetz8451 und Gebot4687, zwischen Sitten und Rechten2706, sollt ihr2094 sie unterrichten, daß sie sich3427 nicht verschuldigen am HErrn3068, und ein Zorn7110 über euch und eure Brüder251 komme935. Tut ihm also3541, so werdet ihr euch nicht verschuldigen.

11 And, behold,2009 Amariah568 the chief7218 priest3548 is over5921 you in all3605 matters1697 of the LORD;3068 and Zebadiah2069 the son1121 of Ishmael,3458 the ruler5057 of the house1004 of Judah,3063 for all3605 the king's4428 matters:1697 also the Levites3881 shall be officers7860 before6440 you. Deal6213 courageously,2388 and the LORD3068 shall be1961 with5973 the good.2896

11 Siehe, Amarja568, der Priester, ist der Oberste über euch in allen Sachen1697 des HErrn3068. So ist Sabadja, der Sohn1121 Ismaels3458, Fürst7218 im Hause1004 Juda3063, in allen Sachen des Königs4428. So habt ihr Amtleute7860, die Leviten3881, vor6440 euch. Seid getrost2388 und3548 tut6213 es1697; und der HErr3068 wird mit dem Guten2896 sein.
